This was the biggest project I’ve worked on in my career so far. Over three years were invested, and I am very proud of it. It was the first project I built from the ground up, and I saw it grow from zero users to over 1,000. The impact of this project was huge, representing a significant portion of the revenue.

My role in this project evolved over time. I was the first engineer hired to take the project from the ground up, and over time, I became the project leader, managing a team of two other developers.

Just like my role, my responsibilities evolved over time. At the beginning of the project, my task was to enable wedding planners to organize events and refer couples to Wedy’s main product in the easiest way possible. During this time, Wedy Pro was seen as a sales channel. As time went on, it evolved into a full product, and I was responsible for incrementally adding new features to it.

We implemented several features and integrations, such as: CRM, vendors, personal drive, contracts, budgets, guest list, and the task checklist, which connects all the features into a concise, unified list. On the customer side, they have access to all the event management, allowing them to see the organization in real-time.
